About Us-
Seven Lakes West is a premier lake and golf community that offers a wide range of activities and amenities to foster an active lifestyle for people of all ages. Respect for its beauty and preservation of its natural environment has positioned it as the community of choice in North Carolina, the preferred place to live and enjoy the benefits of family, friends and community. As such, residents enjoy the safety and security of living inside a 3,000-acre gated, covenant restricted community with a sparkling clean, 800-acre lake at its heart.

Homes on large lots with beautiful landscaping abound; others offer smaller footprints for low-maintenance living. The Morganwood section has lots from three to five-plus-acres, with some select equestrian properties. All of which allow members to enjoy dream homes that suit their lifestyle.

The community campus includes a beautiful West Side Park, a two-story Community Center, swimming pool, nature trail, and tennis/pickleball and basketball courts. Johnson Point, on the lake, features a boat launching ramp, reservable boat slips and sandy beach. Also, within the gates, but independently-owned, is a semi-private, 18-hole golf course, Beacon Ridge Golf and Country Club

Financial Health
The community is on solid financial ground. According to the April 30, 2019 audit, Seven Lakes West completed their fiscal year with an excess of revenue over expenditures giving the Association a healthy Fund Balance. The Association's budget covers things such as paving, dam repairs, and other asset replacements as well as normal operating costs.  Because of the diligent efforts of former Boards, the Association has been able to accomplish many projects without additional assessments to homeowners.

The Association recently completed an extensive reserve study to provide a picture into the future needs of the community.  The Board is currently reviewing the study and will be using the information to help formulate projections for future budgets.
