Kids Christmas Party - 2016
On the 4th of December, 88 kids of all ages experienced yet another fun filled Christmas party at the Seven Lakes West Community Center.
Santa made his arrival on a Seven Lakes Fire Truck with all the children gathered around to greet him. Once Santa heard all their wishes, the afternoon was filled with ornament making, paper plate ice skating, and cookie decorating.
Standing in line to share wish lists with Santa
As families continued enjoying refreshments and holiday games. LM Photography assisted in capturing Santa moments for all attending families. Once photos are available a link will be provided.

With heartfelt appreciation we would like to extend a special thank you to Mr. William Disney who has graciously played Santa for the community for the past 18 years, as well as the Seven Lakes Fire Department for their assistance.
Warmest wishes to all families this Holiday season, from your 2016 Kids Christmas Party Committee: Paula Flint, Jan Scholl, Lauren Riehl, Natalee Birdsell, Shannon Stites, Tricia Augustine, Beth Bedwell, Tashe Jarusinski, Sherry Shepherd, Jamie Pelletier, and all the extra elves;)

TWENTIETH YEAR FISH HABITATS DELIVERED
BY LAKE AUMAN SPORTS CLUB
This year, 2017, marked the twentieth anniversary that volunteers from the Lake Auman Sports Club (LASC) conducted their fish habitat program by placing Christmas trees under the docks of participating lakefront property owners. This annual project provides the lake’s small fish with protective cover to escape from larger predator fish helping increase the lake’s fish population, both in size and number. This year forty-eight trees were delivered and prepped on February 10th and on the following day, were placed under twenty-six docks, including ten new locations. Many homeowners, who have participated in the past, were turned down this year as there was no more room under their docks for additional trees.
Community residents needing assistance disposing of their trees were able to have their trees picked up and taken to the designated tree drop area. LASC volunteers providing that help were Bruce Keyser, Stan Makson, Jim Pierman and Don Smith. The following Sports Club members delivered the trees and prepared them at the docks: Glenn Anderson, Ed Cockman, Don D’Apolitto, Charlie Flinchum, Jim Haggard, Mark Haut, Tom Kallio, Dan Lambert, Stan Makson, Mike Ozimek, Jim Pierman, Bill Pratt, Don Smith and Don Snell.
For the first time, there were two three-man teams, instead of only one, working to place and secure the trees under the docks. Scott Ryan donned his diving wet suit and he and Dan Pieroni spent the day in the fifty degree water. Previously, Dan was the only one in the frigid waters every year. Working with the two of them were Ben Benjamin, Dave Lamon, Don Smith and Pinecrest High School Junior Dax Ingram. The project was organized again this year by Don Smith.
Special thanks to Dan Pieroni for his twenty years devoted to this program
, in the water... every one of them. Thanks to all the volunteers for a job well done and to the lakefront homeowners who participated this year and in the past to make this program possible. Placement crew photos>
