Announcements
A
sick raccoon was spotted
at 265 Morganwood and
picked up by Animal
Control. They are
testing to see if the
raccoon was rabid.
Please be on the lookout
for animals that may
also be sick and/or
rabid. Nocturnal animals
that are out during the
day, animals that are
walking weird, or
animals that may show
aggressiveness are some
of the signs of a rabid
creature. Please be
careful and call Animal
Control (910-947-2858)
or the police
(910-947-2911)
immediately.

Dam Engineer to
make
Presentation
On Tuesday Aug
3, 2010 Dr. Dan
Marks, our Dam
Engineer, will
make a
presentation at
the Community
Center at 7:00
PM on the
remediation and
his
recommendations
related to the
road over the
dam.
After his
presentation Dr.
Marks will
take questions
from the
community

Available
Wednesday July
28th
Any SLWLA member
in good standing
that would like
to get a window
decal for their
car that will be
recognized by
the North- and
South-Side
Guards at their
front gates for
access by West-Siders,
should go to the
Community Center
M-F, 9AM - 4PM
and buy a decal
and have it
installed by CAS.
